About the role

  • Design Engineer involved in solar, wind, and energy storage projects in Thailand. Conducting assessments, preparing layouts, and supporting project execution with a focus on technical designs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site assessments and prepare system layouts using PVsyst, AutoCAD, and related tools.
  • Perform system sizing, energy yield simulations, and technical feasibility studies.
  • Support proposal preparation with accurate BOQs and EPC cost estimation.
  • Review and optimize technical designs for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, EPC partners, and BD team to ensure technical alignment.
  • Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning stages.
  • Provide customer service to clients as required.

Requirements

  • University Graduate with degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in solar PV system design.
  • Knowledge of the business landscape and culture in Thailand
  • Proficient in PVsyst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Thai grid connection regulations and DPPA process is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Confident communicator in English and Thai
  • Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment
  • Willingness to learn about the solar and renewable energy industry
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the country
