Design Engineer involved in solar, wind, and energy storage projects in Thailand. Conducting assessments, preparing layouts, and supporting project execution with a focus on technical designs.
Responsibilities
Conduct site assessments and prepare system layouts using PVsyst, AutoCAD, and related tools.
Perform system sizing, energy yield simulations, and technical feasibility studies.
Support proposal preparation with accurate BOQs and EPC cost estimation.
Review and optimize technical designs for performance and cost efficiency.
Coordinate with suppliers, EPC partners, and BD team to ensure technical alignment.
Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning stages.
Provide customer service to clients as required.
Requirements
University Graduate with degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in solar PV system design.
Knowledge of the business landscape and culture in Thailand
Proficient in PVsyst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Thai grid connection regulations and DPPA process is a plus.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong problem-solving mindset.
Confident communicator in English and Thai
Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment
Willingness to learn about the solar and renewable energy industry
Willingness to travel frequently across the country
