About the role

  • Coordinator Diversion Prevention responsible for managing the Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Program at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Auditing, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration for patient safety is key.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the Controlled Substance Diversion Prevention Program for the health system’s inpatient Pharmacy departments.
  • Ensure that the health system has processes in place to minimize the risk of controlled substance diversion.
  • Assist site-based pharmacy leadership in developing workflows that minimize the risk of diversion.
  • Coordinate and perform audits to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Requirements

  • High School graduate
  • Adept in use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
