About the role
- Senior Cost Analyst overseeing IT project costs and budget adherence in LATAM. Analyzing financial data to optimize costs and support departmental financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor costs across various areas and projects within LATAM's IT structure, ensuring adherence to the budget.
- Ensure all financial activities are aligned with established budgets and contribute to achieving financial targets.
- Continuously analyze financial data to identify cost-reduction opportunities and process optimizations.
- Collaborate with different departments to help them meet their financial goals, providing necessary support.
- Prepare and deliver management reports, including monthly financial closings, Rolling Forecasts, and other required information.
- Ensure that all supplier payments and requests are made on time and in accordance with financial guidelines.
- Create, control and manage the Delegation of Authority (DOA) for annual payments and supervise all OPEX and CAPEX investments.
- Develop, maintain and support cost-control tools, ensuring their effective use across the organization.
- Provide all necessary financial information and respond to additional requests from the company's finance team.
Requirements
- Experience in cost control and budgeting: Proven experience in budget management, expense control, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Strong financial analytical skills: Ability to interpret financial data, produce reports, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of financial software and tools: Familiarity with financial management systems, cost-control tools, and ERPs.
- Knowledge in CAPEX management: Experience in budgeting, monitoring, and controlling capital investments.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related fields (preferred).
