Inside Sales Representative II driving aftermarket parts sales and managing customer service in HVAC solutions industry. Engaging with customers, collaborating with teams, and ensuring efficient order processing.
Responsibilities
Proactively engage customers to upsell aftermarket parts and train team on selling techniques
Manage RFQ/quoting process, prepare proposals, and oversee territory revenue and margin performance
Serve as product champion and provide training on FAP and FEP towers, and components
Process orders in SAP and ensure compliance with original proposals and pricing
Monitor order status, coordinate with expeditors, and assist with engineering scope and scheduling alignment
Maintain and update aftermarket pricing catalogs and distributor stock level recommendations
Support new ISR training and participate in rep/service contractor education
Participate in emergency coverage rotation and provide advanced ERP/system support
Lead IT enhancement initiatives to improve quoting and order systems functionality
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and effectively implement changes
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-function teams at all levels (production to management) and present data and recommendations verbally and in written form to management
5+ years of experience in product and parts sales
Knowledge of HVAC, cooling towers, and/or chillers, strongly desired
Aftermarket or distributor sales (representative management) experience, helpful
Familiarity with SAP, or other ERP systems
Familiarity with engineering documents and history, desired
Bachelor’s degree, or Trade School degree, in Engineering or similar technical field, preferred.
