Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our accounting operations and payroll.
You will ensure the reliability of financial information, compliance with internal controls, and actively collaborate in the preparation of periodic financial statements.
You will also provide guidance to junior members of the accounting team.
You will gain a complete understanding of the company’s accounting cycle through this role.
Requirements
University degree in Accounting;
CPA designation obtained or in progress (a strong asset, but not mandatory with 8–10 years of solid accounting experience);
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an SME environment;
Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written;
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and the accounting cycle, ensuring reliable and compliant financial information;
Expertise in ERP optimization and digital tools, including process automation;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset;
Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously with accuracy and autonomy;
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication.
