About the role

  • Management Accountant role at DJH involving collaboration with Finance team to prepare accounts and support bookkeeping. Opportunity to develop and progress in a rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for companies in the Great Things Together Group
  • Support with daily bookkeeping duties alongside the rest of the team
  • Manage month-end procedures such as client WIP adjustments and department reporting
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Collate management packs to be presented to the board
  • Assist with year-end and statutory accounts for group companies, cashflow forecasting and budgeting
  • Prepare weekly reports including staff analysis, chargeability and performance packs
  • Confidently coach, develop and train junior members of the team

Requirements

  • Nearly or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with either industry or practice experience.
  • Proven experience within a similar role.
  • Tech-savvy, with a knowledge of CCH desirable.
  • Thrive in a collaborative and progressive environment.
  • Fantastic communicator.
