About the role

  • Accountant responsible for creating financial statements and ensuring internal compliance in Switzerland. Collaborating with departments on financial matters and improving accounting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss accounting standards, and documentation of compliance with internal policies
  • Coding and posting of business transactions in the financial accounting system
  • Performing financial analyses and preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Monitoring liquidity and handling payment transactions
  • Supporting annual audits and regulatory reviews
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the accounting function
  • Advising business units on financial matters

Requirements

  • Completed commercial/business education, complemented by further training in accounting/finance
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a comparable position
  • Solid knowledge of relevant accounting standards and accounting software
  • Confident user skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Independent, structured and analytical approach to work
  • Good communication skills in German; English skills are an advantage
  • Team player with strong commitment and flexibility
