About the role

  • Lead program and project management at S&P Global Mobility, overseeing a high-performing PMO team. Ensure seamless project execution and operational excellence across digital services business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the PMO for all S&P Global Mobility projects and project managers, implementing a “hub and spoke” model to ensure consistent project governance and reporting across the organization.
  • Responsible for the successful execution of all projects within S&P Global Mobility, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage project dependencies between S&P Global Mobility and its subsidiaries, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure seamless execution.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve program and project management processes, standards, and methodologies in line with industry best practices.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of clear, timely, and actionable project status reports for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop and manage robust communication plans to ensure transparency and alignment across project teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead regular project reviews, ensuring adherence to standards, quality expectations, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all project management activities comply with SOX and audit requirements, maintaining rigorous documentation and controls.
  • Collaborate with PMOs in subsidiaries to share knowledge, align on best practices, and drive consistency in project management approaches.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of program and project management professionals, fostering a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program and project management, with a track record of managing multiple, complex projects within a global, technology-driven organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and optimize PMO teams or centralized project management functions.
  • Experience overseeing project delivery, managing dependencies, and coordinating efforts across multiple business units or subsidiaries.
  • Solid understanding of program and project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Prince2) and the ability to implement and improve processes and standards.
  • Proficiency in status reporting, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with SOX/audit requirements and experience integrating compliance into project management practices.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and liaise with internal and external partners to align on best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop project management talent.
  • Project/program management certifications (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) preferred.
  • This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
