About the role

  • Business Process Expert optimizing production planning and S&OP processes at Lohmann, a specialist in adhesive solutions. Driving system development and improvement initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between operations and IT to ensure our S&OP processes (forecasting, production planning and production operations) are optimally aligned.
  • Use your holistic perspective and ability to identify improvement potential early to actively drive the development of our systems and processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for optimization requests related to SAP S/4HANA and S&OP processes (forecasting, production planning, production operations).
  • Project management: plan, steer and implement improvement initiatives with a clear focus on measurable results.
  • Interface management: work closely between operations and IT and coordinate with all relevant areas within the SAP environment.
  • Process and organizational development: prepare and implement process improvements across the organization.
  • Take an end-to-end view of business processes with a focus on analysis, harmonization and standardization of planning and control processes and the systems used.
  • Develop and implement a governance model for central planning parameters (e.g., lead times, safety stocks, lot sizes, planning horizon).
  • Collaborate cooperatively with planners, production managers and procurement to introduce changes pragmatically and sustainably.
  • Proactively contribute ideas: identify market trends and new approaches and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Problem-solving competence: develop concrete solutions based on the needs of the business units.
  • Hands-on mentality with strong assertiveness and a willingness to take responsibility.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in production planning or process optimization, ideally with project responsibility in an international environment.
  • Confident user of SAP S/4HANA, in particular the Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules, and a strong IT affinity.
  • Programming skills are an advantage.
  • High motivation to continuously implement improvements and bring market innovations into the company.
  • Experience working in multicultural teams is desirable.
  • Very good English skills (B2).
  • Very good German skills (B2).
