About the role

  • Responsible for developing strategies and tactics to achieve customer objectives, KPIs, and targets
  • Oversee and manage a team of Key Account Managers to ensure execution and delivery of objectives for strategic partners
  • Responsible for sales, promotion, and marketing of brands
  • Supervise the activities of assigned accounts to ensure maximum sales and profits
  • Coach, direct, and counsel team members on overall performance
  • Strategize with senior sales management to enhance contribution to sales goals
  • Provide sales training, brand awareness, and development direction
  • Establish a course of action to accomplish sales and specific goals/programming
  • Present, educate, and ensure execution of monthly programs
  • Conduct market surveys to determine and track competing brands and wholesalers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, results, and recommendations for market improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree and an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Seven years of industry related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier community
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator s license and ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance by State laws
  • Ability to work flexible hours which include early morning (i.e., 4:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. start times), evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work overnight travel as required
