Sales Executive supporting activities related to Red Hat infrastructure portfolio and collaborating with the technical team. Involves active client prospecting and managing opportunities.
Responsibilities
Support commercial activities related to the Red Hat infrastructure portfolio (RHEL, Red Hat Satellite, OpenShift & Kubernetes, Ansible Automation Platform, Virtualization & Containers);
Work together with the technical and pre-sales team to identify customer needs and prepare proposals;
Perform active prospecting of new clients and opportunities, making calls, presentations, and initial demonstrations;
Promote and position software security solutions, with emphasis on Black Duck for analysis of vulnerabilities, licenses, and risks in open source components;
Manage the opportunities pipeline in the CRM, ensuring status updates, follow-ups, and forecast accuracy;
Participate in meetings with clients, supporting senior executives and contributing information and reports;
Conduct market research and account mapping to identify potential expansion opportunities;
Collaborate with internal areas (marketing, pre-sales, consulting, partnerships) to execute sales strategies;
Support the organization and participation in events, workshops, and webinars with clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Marketing, Business, or related fields;
Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, Linux operating systems, and Red Hat technologies (even at an introductory level);
Knowledge of information security and familiarity with DevSecOps concepts;
Experience as an SDR is a plus.
