About the role

  • Business Development Representative responsible for building partner relationships in the energy sector with innovative Meter-to-Cash software. Focusing on outbound activities and market analysis for growth.

Responsibilities

  • As a BDR you are the face of Solarize and the first, decisive contact point for our future partners.
  • You lay the foundation for our sales success and contribute directly to our growth.
  • You identify trends, analyze competitors, and uncover new growth opportunities.
  • You build a high-quality pipeline through targeted research and creative outbound strategies.
  • In initial conversations you understand the challenges of our prospective customers and qualify them for the next steps.

Requirements

  • A strong drive and motivation to launch a career in tech sales and to embrace a steep learning curve.
  • Strong communication skills, enjoyment of phone outreach, and a professional, confident manner in direct customer interactions.
  • A desire to improve every day—both professionally and personally.
  • A completed degree in (technical) business administration or a comparable field of study.
  • Excellent German at native level (C2), both spoken and written.
  • Initial experience in outbound sales (B2B SaaS) or another customer-facing role is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot) and other sales tools is an advantage.
  • A basic understanding of, or interest in, the energy or real estate sector is a plus.
  • Good English skills are a plus.
