Responsibilities
- Ensure REACH regulatory compliance of materials, substances and components
- Identify, analyze and monitor regulated chemical substances (SVHCs, restrictions, authorizations)
- Manage REACH submissions and communications with suppliers
- Analyze Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and material data
- Contribute to material selection in coordination with R&D, methods, quality and purchasing teams
- Propose substance substitutions when necessary
- Update material databases and regulatory documentation
- Monitor regulatory developments (REACH, RoHS, CLP, etc.)
- Support internal and customer audits related to material compliance
Requirements
- Master’s degree (engineering school or university) in materials, chemistry, materials science or a related field
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments
- Knowledge of REACH regulation
- Materials/substance analysis
- Ability to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Management of technical and regulatory data
- Good level of technical English (documentation, supplier communications)
