About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for hardware and maintain strategic supplier’s relationships
- Identify/implement cost saving opportunities
- Ensure the supply base and industry leading quality
- Act as the key interface between internal Engineering, Operations, Material and other cross functional teams and external commodity suppliers, contractor manufacturers to ensure procurement initiatives and support business objectives
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify opportunities and risks related to product design and business plans
- Ensure supply assurance, driving necessary and timely action for potential supply issues, strong alignment with material manager for accurate CTB
Requirements
- Engineering or technical degree
- Great English communication skills
- Sourcing management, min 4 years of experience
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and at times ambiguous environments
- 5-10 years of experience in supply chain development, sourcing management, or manufacturing operations
- Good communication skills and ability to work in multilingual as well as multicultural environments with partners
- Previous experience in the following areas is preferred; Plastic and silicon injection molding, Metal stamping and CNC, Metal injection molding, Batteries, Speakers, optical components
- Periodical travel to supplier’s domestic and international manufacturing sites, approximately 25%
