About the role
- Lead Licence Manager overseeing strategic and operational software asset management. Collaborating with IT teams on compliance and optimization in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational leadership of the License Management staff unit
- Ensuring compliance of all software assets and conducting license audits
- Responsibility for the annual review and optimization of the company-wide license inventory
- Conducting license audits and preparing license reconciliations
- Managing and further developing license management in a tool-based environment
- Collaborating with IT and procurement teams and negotiating software and license agreements
- Preparing reports and analyses on license compliance and cost optimization
Requirements
- Several years of experience in software and license management, ideally in a leadership role
- Deep expertise in SAP licensing and other vendors (Microsoft, Adobe, Broadcom, Citrix)
- Leadership experience and strong project management skills
- Proficient use of SAM tools, particularly in the SAP context
- Strong negotiation skills and a confident presence in contract negotiations
- Affinity for new technologies and process optimization
