About the role

  • Project Manager leading the entire lifecycle of safety-related projects in medical technology and industry. Focused on ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion with a strong team coordination.

Responsibilities

  • You independently manage development projects from A (work package) to Z (schedule) in the medical technology, industrial, or avionics sectors — for example, the integration of an infusion pump with a hospital information system.
  • You act as project manager and carry the coordination responsibility for your project teams (3–50 people); this includes, for example, deriving work packages, planning development phases, and ongoing transparent project monitoring and control.
  • In collaboration with specialist teams, you prepare project cost estimates, detailed project plans, and draft proposals.
  • You capture and assess customer requirements with regard to their impact on the project.
  • You serve as a central key role and ensure the smooth flow of information between customers and your colleagues from development and sales.

Requirements

  • You have a successfully completed degree in a technical or natural sciences field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Technical Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or similar) or an equivalent qualification.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Product Owner, can lead software or hardware teams, and prepare project cost estimates.
  • Experience in regulated environments is an advantage.
  • You are experienced with traditional and agile project management methods, such as the V-Model or SCRUM, and ideally hold a certification (e.g., IPMA or PMI).
  • Very good German skills (C1) as well as good English skills.
