About the role

  • Senior HR Investigator leading complex employee relations investigations at Sky and managing high-risk cases effectively. Collaborating with stakeholders and upskilling the team while ensuring compliance with employment law.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the most complex and high profile investigations from start to finish
  • Effectively and sensitively interact and communicate with individuals involved in a case
  • Produce objective findings, practical recommendations and high quality outcomes and reports
  • Provide constructive and impactful feedback to colleagues within the HRI team
  • Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Deputise for HRI Manager as/when required
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all HRI activity

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading complex employee relations investigations
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law (including the Equality Act 2010 and ACAS Code of Practice)
  • Ability to deliver high-quality investigation reports and outcome letters efficiently
  • Experience supporting, coaching and developing junior colleagues on investigative approach
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with a proven ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Ability to build effective working relationships in challenging situations
