Responsibilities
Researches, analyzes, and reports on competitors’ products and sales practices to senior sales members
Gathers, analyzes and reports on market intelligence
Works primarily within assigned geographic territory to increase sales to established client base
Manages moderately complex sales accounts and transactions
Works independently to develop new sales accounts within and beyond designated sales territory
Requirements
Significant commercial experience within foodservice or a related FMCG environment
Demonstrated success managing distributor or wholesale customer relationships at a senior level
Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with forecasting, trade spend and joint business planning
Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop high performing teams
Well developed negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation capability in a fast paced environment
Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams
Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or a related discipline (preferred)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM or sales reporting systems
