About the role
- Project Manager coordinating mobile network rollout projects for Vodafone. Leading and managing complex telecom projects with hands-on involvement and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate various mobile network projects with a focus on rollout
- Proactively drive rollout projects based on customer-relevant requirements and data
- Conduct deep-dive sessions with stakeholders to clarify complex issues and identify risk factors
- Early identification and removal of blocking points in the rollout process
- Identify optimization opportunities in the rollout process and implement improvement measures, followed by review meetings
- Create and maintain rollout documentation, including status reports, change logs, and lessons learned
- Regular coordination meetings and calls with the customer and all involved teams
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training or degree (communications engineering, telecommunications, information technology, electrical engineering, or similar)
- Proven experience managing complex (including multiple simultaneous) mobile network projects
- Extensive expertise in telecommunications (mobile network infrastructure and rollouts)
- Strong project management knowledge (methods and tools) and very good Office skills (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
- Strong communication skills, goal-oriented demeanour, and ability to stay calm under pressure
- High willingness to travel (approx. 3 days per week to Frankfurt/Main, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf) subject to agreement with the client
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
