Responsibilities
Delivers sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives within the assigned accounts or territory.
Develops account-specific sales and strategic plans aligned with business goals.
Has an in-depth understanding of the customer strategy and defines an account strategy that drives profitable high growth opportunities for Signify as well as operationally managing the execution.
Establishes and nurtures professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts to position Signify as a trusted partner and negotiates contracts to maximize profitability.
Leads joint strategic account planning processes to set performance objectives, identify business opportunities, and establish milestones for one and three-year periods.
Provides customers with accurate product, system, and application knowledge ensuring solutions meet technical specifications and standards.
Defines and leads actions in the accounts, aligning the support across cross-functional Signify teams (e.g. Sales Specialists, Channel / End User Marketing, Product Marketing, Order Desk, Quote Support, Proposal Management, LiAS, Project Management, Customer Satisfaction etc.) with the objective of meeting account performance objectives and customer’s expectations.
Prepares proposals and negotiates pricing, terms, and contracts within authorized limits.
Ensures adherence to commercial policies and protects company margins.
Drives continuous improvement by gathering client feedback and implementing solutions, monitors customer satisfaction, resolves issues promptly, and builds long-term trust.
Maintains up-to-date records in CRM systems, ensuring accuracy in forecasts, pipeline data, and performance metrics.
Provides accurate information to ensure proper forecasting and product availability.
Reports sales performance and account progress regularly.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is essential
Experience in Horticulture industry and understanding of target customers' businesses required.
5+ years of experience ideally related to key account management or strategic sales roles in managing medium-large accounts and driving profitable growth.
Financial selling skills highly desired.
Excel skills and ability to sell from TCO / ROI framework a big plus.
Strong technical knowledge of lighting, control and electrical systems a big plus.
