About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the procurement team
  • Process low-value procurement transactions and manage purchase orders
  • Maintain procurement databases and generate reports
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Support Procurement Agents in the procurement cycle and post-purchase order activities
  • Gather and distribute procurement documentation from various data sources

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating procurement reports and data analysis
  • Competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for procurement documentation and communication
  • Demonstrated ability to complete low-value procurement transactions under supervision
  • Experience with purchase order tracking and supplier follow-up
  • Accuracy in database management and data entry
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and help resolve procurement discrepancies
  • Experience in coordinating and scheduling meetings
