About the role
- Business Analyst Intern assisting the Business Intelligence team with data visualization migration from Tableau to Sigma. Engaging in professional development and completing a capstone project.
Responsibilities
- Helping the Business Intelligence team migrate data visualization platforms from Tableau to Sigma
- Completing and presenting a capstone project related to department business needs
- Leveraging data visualization to rebuild Tableau dashboards in Sigma where appropriate
- Working collaboratively with Business Intelligence, Data Engineering and stakeholders to ensure business needs are being met
- Implementing new Snowflake and Sigma features where appropriate
- Documenting work in Jira stories and following kanban process
- Participating in daily standup to escalate hurdles and support others as needed
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's program in analytics, computer science or a related program
- Expected graduation date of 2026, 2027, and 2028
- Knowledge of data visualization
- Knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with AI concepts (natural language processing, agents, prompt engineering, hallucination, model bias/drift, etc.)
- Experience working with sales or finance departments/stakeholders
- Familiarity with medallion data lakehouse architecture concepts
- Aptitude and eagerness to learn and solve problems
