About the role
- Business Analyst responsible for mapping operational rules and analyzing risks in a finance recovery firm. Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring compliance and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Map operational, contractual, and regulatory rules;
- Translate those rules into testable controls (preventive and detective);
- Structure and consolidate data from different systems for analysis;
- Analyze scenarios and identify nonconformities and operational risks;
- Execute and monitor periodic control tests;
- Record and ensure the traceability of auditable evidence;
- Monitor and analyze operational risk indicators;
- Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and analyses;
- Drive the evolution and improvement of controls, including automations.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or related fields;
- Experience in data analysis with strong Excel skills;
- Experience in operational environments (collections, call center, customer service, or similar);
- Ability to interpret rules and work with data to build controls and analyses;
- Ability to structure problems and propose solutions;
- Familiarity with governance and control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, COSO, ISO 27001);
- Postgraduate degree in related areas (preferred);
- Knowledge of SQL (basic to intermediate);
- Experience with CRM systems or dialer platforms;
- Experience with quality monitoring;
- Understanding of compliance, audit, and internal controls;
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
