About the role

  • Partner Specialist managing training and partner campaigns for SHI, a global IT solutions provider. Collaborating with sales teams and creating content to enhance sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary subject-matter expert for product, sales, and program information.
  • Train sales teams on partner products and programs, and how customers can benefit by using their core products.
  • Conduct conference calls/meetings with Sales teams, manufacturer Sales teams, and customers to sell partner products and solutions.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline on an ongoing basis through CRM and Excel.
  • Manage and process Partner Deal Registration and/or other strategic pricing programs.
  • Create and maintain content on internal team sites, including training decks and presentations.
  • Execute on partner campaigns and initiatives aligning with Sales teams.
  • Monitor CRM for submitted Deal Registrations request and submit them to the partner.
  • Stay up to date on new product technology offerings, as well as partner-specific trainings and certifications.
  • Provide excellent support to both customers and the SHI sales organization.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain Partners’ Certifications during employment.
