About the role

  • Internal liaison supporting Preplanning Solutions Partner Management teams at TruStage. Collaborating with Partners/Clients for exceptional experiences and driving strategic initiatives in the insurance domain.

Responsibilities

  • This position serves as an internal liaison supporting the Preplanning Solutions Partner Management teams (Canada and the US) and our Partner/Clients to grow the Preplanning Solutions business.
  • This role is responsible for successful internal cross functional collaboration and coordination with external Partner/Clients to deliver a consistent and exceptional Partner/Client experience and successful execution of strategic initiatives and sales/service results.
  • The role provides high quality and proactive support to the Partner Management team by identifying opportunities through evaluation of the Partner/Client’s current situation and anticipating the needs for future enhancements.
  • Coordinates and completes tasks associated with initiatives planning and execution.
  • Builds and maintains a positive relationship with key Partner/Client contacts by building credibility and trust through open, honest, and timely communication.
  • Facilitates relationship building between the Partner Management Team, new and existing Partners/Clients, and internal resources.
  • Evaluates performance and provides internal Management and Partner/Client with information to ensure desired results are achieved.
  • Assist the Partner Management Teams (as needed) with preparation of reports and information to proactively manage existing Partner/Client relationships and performance.
  • Identify new partner opportunities and support Partner Management Team in developing new relationships.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with internal and external business partners.
  • Liaise with shared service teams (ie Marketing, Digital, IT, Operations, etc) as necessary to align to enterprise approaches, leverage common tools, and share best practices
  • Troubleshoot problems or issues through to completion on behalf of Partner/Clients with guidance from cross functional business partners and monitor satisfaction through proactive follow-up.
  • Work closely with Partner Management Team to ensure successful execution and manage experience related to sales and strategic action plans with Partners.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for further product penetration and improved processes for our Partner/Clients.
  • Foster teamwork and culture that accepts and responds rapidly to change and is action and results oriented.
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Solve complex problems; take a new perspective using existing solutions and approach changes with flexibility.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives in various roles including SME, testing and general team member.
  • Partner with Learning and Development to co-create content and tools that will drive sales results and better Agent/Client Experience.
  • Help design, track and analyze incentive and recognition programs (Premier Club, Arbor Elite, etc) and Partner training programs (Premier Summit, Arbor Elevate, etc)
  • Identify areas of opportunity and removing obstacles to make it easier to do business with us.
  • Work with operations to create process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of five years successful partner support experience, preferably within the insurance industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TruStage Insurance products and services, with in-depth understanding of the customers, business, industry, and market preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan projects and maintain deadlines with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to comprehend and follow complex processes, with aptitude for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, relationship building, problem-solving skills, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated strong persuasive, influencing skills with top levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to continually modify working style to meet customer demands such as prioritizing, multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate computer technology into sales processes
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time
  • PC Literate i.e. MS OFFICE, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understands (or learns) Preplanning Solutions sales channels, key strategies, primary projects, business plans and business arrangements with Partner/Clients
  • Ability to assess Partner/Client needs
  • Aptitude to use basic skills to develop and apply advanced problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and communicate data effectively
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-up and organizations skills
