About the role

  • Territory Sales Manager maintaining Shaw’s profitability and market share in Bowling Green, KY. Develop customer relationships and drive sales of flooring products through daily sales calls and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and increase Shaw’s profitability and market share in Bowling Green, KY.
  • Develop good relationships with customers based on knowledge, service, trust, and integrity.
  • Daily sales calls on existing customers emphasizing soft and hard surface flooring products.
  • Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users.
  • Analyze all leads provided by corporate reports.
  • Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more.
  • Prospect for viable new accounts while developing keen awareness of designated geographic area.
  • Prepare reports of business transactions and sales.
  • Communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals.
  • Analyze sales statistics to aid in formulating goals.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Previous sales experience required.
  • Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner.
  • Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.
  • Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures.
  • Must travel in a vehicle that can carry product sample boards.
  • Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Must reside within the territory.
