About the role

  • Change Project Manager responsible for managing project delivery and engaging stakeholders for Severn Trent Water. Ensure effective communication and project governance while driving sustainable change.

Responsibilities

  • Be directly responsible / accountable for delivery of assigned projects and work-streams through the pre-defined project life cycle.
  • Actively engage with the Project Sponsor and effectively manage other stakeholders across the business during the course of a project
  • Communicate effectively on project deliverables to ensure they are well received by the recipients of the change and that the project is successfully delivered
  • Advise Project Boards, resolve issues and recommend corrective action to implement workings within agreed project governance arrangements
  • Make sure that project and change benefits are correctly identified and monitored, and a framework is in place to drive and deliver sustainable change.

Requirements

  • strong leadership and influencing skills with a proven track record in project management
  • presenting and communicating skills will be a massive help
  • Experience of benefit identification, definition, business case building and delivery planning / implementation
  • experience of coaching, training and giving feedback at all levels
  • ideally have a Project Management accreditation
  • if that includes Six Sigma training/ accreditation that would be a bonus
