About the role

  • Project Manager for ship repair at a maritime family-owned company with a focus on innovative designs and high-quality manufacturing. Involves coordination, cost management, and client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Cost estimation in accordance with customer requests or repair specifications
  • Planning and organization of the shipyard stay (docking period)
  • Coordination and alignment of in-house trades and subcontractors
  • Central point of contact for all project stakeholders
  • Responsibility for project cost, schedule and quality

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in shipbuilding; further training as a technician (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification is desirable
  • Several years of professional experience in ship repair or ship operations are required
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Assertiveness, confident appearance, structured working methods, strong communication and teamwork skills
