Responsibilities
Lead a multi ‑ disciplinary team delivering effective leakage detection and identification of unaccounted ‑ for water.
Manage people, assets, systems and budgets to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
Drive high standards of safety, customer service and performance.
Coordinate resources and prioritise leakage activity in line with Proactive Network Control guidance.
Work closely with Network Control, Repair and Maintenance, contractors and internal stakeholders.
Embed change and ensure sufficient resources are in place to deliver both planned and reactive leakage activity.
Accountable for asset, vehicle and equipment standards, budget management, and maintaining a zero ‑ harm culture.
Participate in a 24/7 standby rota.
Requirements
A full UK drivers licence will be required.
Experienced people leader with a proven track record of managing and inspiring teams in a fast ‑ paced, customer ‑ focused environment.
Comfortable challenging performance, recognising potential and driving continuous improvement.
Ability to lead teams through change and perform effectively under pressure, including during emergency situations.
Strong planning, organisational and analytical skills.
Experience of budget planning and control.
Ability to make sound decisions using management information.
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, health and safety, HR, NRSWA, environmental and quality standards is desirable.
Effective communicator who can engage and motivate diverse teams, adapt to change, and maintain a positive, flexible approach.
