Responsibilities
- Professional care of chronic and/or difficult-to-heal wounds
- Digital wound documentation
- Advising, supporting and educating patients and their families
- Close collaboration with other healthcare professionals involved in wound care to ensure optimal patient care
- Ensuring prescription and supply management
- Managing and expanding the existing patient/client base
- Compliance with legal regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- State-recognized nursing qualification (e.g., registered nurse, pediatric nurse, geriatric nurse or general care nurse)
- Professional experience in wound care is an advantage but not required
- Completed further training as a wound care specialist or willingness to undertake such training
- Strong communication skills and a good understanding of patients’ needs
- Reliable and responsible working style
- Valid Class B driver’s license
