About the role

Responsibilities
- In close coordination with theatre management, you support the building services at Metronom Theater in Oberhausen and ensure the proper functioning of technical systems to maintain smooth theatre operations.
- Monitor and maintain building services systems, including heating, ventilation, plumbing (sanitary) and electrical systems.
- Carry out repairs in case of faults or commission external service providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document repairs and inspections.
- Ensure the reliable operation of technical systems during performances and events.
- Work closely with other departments.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a facility technician, electrician, or an equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of and professional experience in electrical engineering/electrotechnics.
- Knowledge of plumbing and heating systems is an advantage.
- Ideally, experience in theatre operations or similar institutions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
