Responsibilities
- Responsible for operational procurement of raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating supplies (RHB) as well as indirect materials to ensure smooth production processes
- Processing orders according to the requirements of production planning and internal departments
- Reviewing order confirmations and preliminary coding of invoices
- Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring timely availability of goods
- Ensuring compliance with and implementation of the central procurement’s policies, guidelines and strategies
- Monitoring inventory levels in cooperation with warehouse management and taking action to prevent shortages
- Handling supplier complaints
- Maintaining purchasing and material data in the ERP system
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training
- Professional experience as a purchasing clerk or purchaser, preferably in a production environment
- Strong organizational skills and a solution-oriented, structured way of working
- Numerical affinity, confident manner and persistence
- Strong communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams
