About the role

• Strategic purchasing role in a fast-growing eCommerce company based in Seevetal, Germany. Involves negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization while working closely with teams.

Responsibilities

• You take on price and contract negotiations in close coordination with your team lead.
• This also includes targeted request for proposals and detailed bid comparisons.
• You provide commercial input during contract preparation together with the team lead and continuously liaise with suppliers until final contract conclusion.
• You identify and realize cost-saving opportunities by critically analyzing existing terms and delivery agreements and, if necessary, initiating supplier changes.
• You autonomously manage a defined set of suppliers and independently develop tailored supplier strategies in close coordination with your team lead.
• You are responsible for creating reports and detailed KPI analyses.
• In addition, you ensure the careful maintenance of supplier contacts and data in our systems.
• You are the primary contact in the business relationship, prepare supplier meetings independently, follow up afterwards, and keep all internal stakeholders informed after strategic meetings.
• You actively connect suppliers with internal interfaces, support continuous improvement of procurement processes, and work closely and cooperatively with other departments.
• You use data purposefully to solve problems, proactively contribute new ideas, and collaborate on cross-departmental process improvements.

Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of experience in procurement and partner management
• You bring market and commercial understanding.
• Product knowledge or initial exposure to areas such as access control technology, construction site supplies, or street furniture is a plus.
• You have negotiation skills and the ability to assert yourself.
• You are structured and work independently.
• You are strong in data analysis and confident in using reporting tools.
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, and a confident manner complete your profile.
