About the role

  • Specialist in planning and control of purchases for a leading energy transition company in Brazil. Responsible for aligning corporate guidelines and monitoring budget adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Centralize and consolidate the company's purchasing plan, ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines
  • Work with the finance team to integrate with the budget and track purchasing forecasts by procurement
  • Lead regular meetings with all company areas to review actual vs. planned (submission of purchase requisitions)
  • Coordinate with the corporate office in Colombia for reporting and strategic alignment
  • Monitor the department budget by analyzing expenses, identifying variances and proposing actions to ensure adherence to the approved budget
  • Support the analyst and intern in building and tracking procurement performance indicators
  • Prepare insights and scenario analyses to support procurement decision-making
  • Monitor purchase requisition entries and movements, ensuring efficiency and adherence to the plan, among other responsibilities relevant to the area

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics and/or related fields
  • MBA, specialization and/or postgraduate degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of budget management, performance indicators and advanced Excel
  • Experience with BI tools is desirable
  • Spanish at an intermediate/advanced level is a plus (due to interaction with Colombia)
