About the role

  • Graduate Development Manager ensuring the effective running of the Graduate Training Scheme at Transport Scotland. Responsible for graduate development, recruitment, and compliance with professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and attend Bi-Annual Graduate Management Meetings
  • Administer the Graduate Training Scheme
  • Oversee planning of graduate rotational placements
  • Meet with graduates regularly to maintain understanding of their development progress
  • Provide support to graduates in preparing for Chartered Professional Review

Requirements

  • Suitable degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
  • Chartered member of appropriate professional body
  • Experience administering a Graduate Training Scheme
  • Experience working as a Reviewer for ICE or CIHT
  • Experience acting as Supervising Civil Engineer or TP Mentor
  • Knowledge of ICE and CIHT requirements for Chartered qualifications
