About the role

  • Area Manager overseeing community short breaks and domiciliary care services for disabled children. Leading a large team and ensuring compliance with regulations in Shropshire and Warwickshire.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee community short breaks and domiciliary care services for disabled children
  • Lead and manage a team of up to 100 staff members
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and promote safeguarding practices
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with commissioners
  • Contribute to tenders and grant applications

Requirements

  • L5 Leadership Qualification (or working towards)
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage staff
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective networks and relationships
  • Experience managing and delivering placement/commissioned services
  • Knowledge of Ofsted and CQC regulatory requirements
  • Experience managing operational services for children and families, specifically for children with disabilities.
