About the role

  • Manager for Digital Acquisition & Performance Marketing at Save the Children, developing lead generation strategies and collaborating globally on digital campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital initiatives for lead generation that engage and inspire support for Save the Children’s work
  • Conceptualize and produce lead magnets and landing pages
  • Design and adapt audience-specific image and video creatives, and create and translate copy
  • Create digital touchpoints for lead conversion journeys, particularly email campaigns
  • Work closely with our telephone team to provide content briefings
  • Contribute to optimizing the full funnel from acquisition to conversion in close coordination with colleagues from Testing and Performance
  • Continuously monitor and report on own initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with internal specialist departments and colleagues across Save the Children worldwide

Requirements

  • Degree or vocational training in Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years’ experience in online marketing, digital content creation, or web editing
  • Excellent writing skills and a good understanding of conversion logic
  • Creative flair and practical experience with image and video editing (e.g., Canva)
  • Experience with content management systems and email/newsletter tools (e.g., TYPO3, Marketing Cloud)
  • Enjoys analyzing and optimizing digital campaigns
  • Team-oriented, strong communicator, and comfortable working closely with other teams
  • Interest in international development and humanitarian emergency response
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
