About the role

  • Technical Sales Manager at KHS responsible for creating customer-specific offers and developing project plans in the food and beverage machinery industry.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and commercial preparation of quotations according to customer requirements
  • Internal management of quotation processes
  • Development of project schedules
  • Responsible processing of quotations in coordination with engineering and sales
  • Machine sizing and determination of technologies
  • Review and assessment of customer specifications in English
  • Technical risk assessment
  • Clarification of regional regulatory requirements
  • Preparation of TCO calculations
  • Ensuring compliance with standards
  • Preparation and delivery of customer presentations
  • Participation in the development of intelligent plant concepts

Requirements

  • Preferably a combined technical-commercial education (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering/Brewing and Business Administration or comparable)
  • Several years of professional experience in technical sales within mechanical and plant engineering, preferably in the food/beverage industry
  • Very good computer skills (MS Office/MS Project)
  • SAP knowledge advantageous
  • Fluent English skills required
  • Goal-oriented and structured working style
  • Team player with assertiveness and appropriate manners
  • Efficient time management and flexible work deployment according to project requirements
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 15%)
