About the role

  • Technical Sales Manager at KHS, a leading manufacturer of filling and packaging systems. Responsible for technical and commercial preparation of offers based on customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and commercial preparation of quotations according to customer requirements
  • Internal quotation coordination
  • Development of project schedules
  • Responsible handling of quotations in coordination with engineering and sales
  • Machine design and determination/selection of technologies
  • Review and evaluation of customer specifications in English
  • Technical risk assessment
  • Clarification of regional regulatory requirements
  • Preparation of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) calculations
  • Ensuring compliance with standards
  • Preparation and delivery of customer presentations
  • Participation in the development of intelligent plant/system concepts

Requirements

  • Preferably a combined technical and commercial education (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering/brewing technology and business administration, or equivalent)
  • Several years of professional experience in technical sales within mechanical and plant engineering, ideally in the food/beverage industry
  • Very good computer skills (MS Office/MS Project)
  • SAP knowledge advantageous
  • Business-fluent/negotiation-level English required
  • Goal-oriented and structured working style
  • Team player with assertiveness and professional demeanor
  • Efficient time management and flexible work deployment according to project requirements
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 15%)
