Responsibilities
- Lead a team supporting the local Compliance obligations for entities across Europe
- As a key Contact person on operations, coordinate compliance work calendar with other Salesforce Compliance accounting teams and Tax and legal compliance departments
- Support and leadership for the controllership Global Process Owner (GPO) program
- Support the continuous training and development of the team, especially in relation to international accounting, tax and compliance
- Support ad-hoc projects undertaken by the Global Accounting organisation
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the International accounting environment
- 5+ years of managerial experience
- Robust experience with SOX audit framework
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related subject area
- Ability to drive work independently, identifying solutions, moving them to implementation, and developing long-range strategies
- Experience in managing local compliance obligations and technical accounting matters
- Team player; self-starter; results-oriented; 'can do' attitude; hands-on approach
- Develops, maintains, and strengthens partnerships with others inside and outside the immediate organization
- Must be able to multitask, work efficiently under tight deadlines and proactively track and report progress
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present information in a professional and easy-to-understand way
- Experience with various data and reporting tools; e.g Tableau
