About the role

  • Leadership position in the tax area for a company focusing on strategic development and compliance. Responsible for team management, process optimization, and legislative compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the tax department, ensuring that deliverables are executed with excellence and aligned with organizational objectives;
  • Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of processes and optimization of workflows;
  • Manage people, fostering an environment of learning, development and talent retention;
  • Develop the organization’s leaders, encouraging the professional growth of the team;
  • Be accountable for strategic planning and the results of the enterprise area;
  • Represent the tax function to clients and partners, leading negotiations and aligning expectations and deliverables;
  • Define metrics and KPIs to monitor team performance and ensure consistent delivery of results;
  • Monitor changes in legislation and market conditions, ensuring processes remain up to date and compliant with best practices;
  • Actively participate in the company’s strategic decisions, contributing to business growth and the expansion of the department’s scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with postgraduate degree or MBA in Management, Taxation or related fields;
  • Proven experience in team management, strategic planning and client relationship management;
  • Strong knowledge of compliance and tax legislation;
  • Good knowledge of administrative tax processes and tax-related legal procedures;
  • Analytical mindset, strong leadership and a business-wide (systemic) perspective.
