About the role
- Senior Manager managing FlightSense Program Management at Collins Aerospace, ensuring contractual performance and customer relationships. Leading internal and external discussions and financial performance for aerospace solutions.
Responsibilities
- Central single point of contact for the contract both externally to the customer and internally with aftermarket team (Repair, Technical, Finance, Management)
- Track overall Customer Support Level (CSL) to the customer for the FlightSense contract, in addition to all Collins commercial repairs
- Own the overall Estimate At Completion (EAC) financial performance for adherence to original business plan
- Review monthly/quarterly cost data, reliability trends, effects of improvement activities and customer fleet/flying projections to update future forecast model predictions in EAC financial model
- Lead any performance penalty or contractual alignment discussions, internally as well as with the customer
- Support customer technical review discussions, with guidance from the Collins product owners, to agree on service bulletin incorporation, chargeable quote disputes and other items
- Travel to visit customers - 20%
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Experience leveraging strong financial acumen and/or experience with financial modeling
- Experience with conflict/issue resolution on difficult problems
- Experience with commercial airframe components
