About the role

  • Senior Manager managing FlightSense Program Management at Collins Aerospace, ensuring contractual performance and customer relationships. Leading internal and external discussions and financial performance for aerospace solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Central single point of contact for the contract both externally to the customer and internally with aftermarket team (Repair, Technical, Finance, Management)
  • Track overall Customer Support Level (CSL) to the customer for the FlightSense contract, in addition to all Collins commercial repairs
  • Own the overall Estimate At Completion (EAC) financial performance for adherence to original business plan
  • Review monthly/quarterly cost data, reliability trends, effects of improvement activities and customer fleet/flying projections to update future forecast model predictions in EAC financial model
  • Lead any performance penalty or contractual alignment discussions, internally as well as with the customer
  • Support customer technical review discussions, with guidance from the Collins product owners, to agree on service bulletin incorporation, chargeable quote disputes and other items
  • Travel to visit customers - 20%

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Experience leveraging strong financial acumen and/or experience with financial modeling
  • Experience with conflict/issue resolution on difficult problems
  • Experience with commercial airframe components
