About the role

  • Senior Analyst, Master Data Planner at Collins Aerospace driving materials business initiatives and supporting technology improvements in planning. Managing master data and cross-functional risks in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on all materials business projects within the materials organization and drives closure to all yearly materials business initiatives.
  • Support and develop new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, efficiencies, sustainability, accountability and reliability.
  • Manage master data and support cross functional risks within early-stage development work.
  • Execute continuous management of the master demand schedule, master data, including adherence to all required validations.
  • Facilitate the capacity management process, including identification and escalation of long-term capacity gaps to ensure successful execution of customer demands in support of materials planning and SIOP.
  • Create and implement a plan for every part and maintain master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies and end items.
  • Work with manufacturing team to develop monthly production planning, inventory position, actual customer orders and the defined capacity parameters.
  • Support and develop clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for materials planning and SIOP.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Visual basic etc)
  • Proficiency in SAP (APICS, etc)
  • Experience with Tableau data platform
