Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly and annual closing procedures;
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts;
- Manage the complete fixed asset cycle (acquisitions, disposals, transfers, issuing invoices, and maintaining the fixed asset movement register);
- Analyze monthly and annual balance sheets and trial balances;
- Record and reconcile payroll;
- Record and reconcile public funds;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Classify and reclassify accounting accounts;
- Assist other departments with accounting entries as needed;
- Provide guidance to other departments on the correct accounting treatment of transactions;
- Prepare statutory tax and accounting obligations, including ECD (Digital Accounting Bookkeeping) and ECF (Corporate Income Tax Electronic Filing);
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (completed)
- Active CRC (professional accountant registration) / Experience with integrated ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills / Up-to-date with accounting standards and CPCs (Brazilian Accounting Pronouncements)
