About the role

  • Manager of Military Engines Communications overseeing strategic initiatives for Aerospace and Defense company. Reporting to Senior Director and collaborating on campaigns and leadership communications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Military Engines Fighter & Mobility Communications, supporting strategic campaigns and business objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive Military Engines Communications plan and narrative that aligns with the broader corporate and Military Engines business objectives.
  • Manage the Military Engines Editorial plan in relation to campaigns and other Military Engines Communications.
  • Provide executive communications support, including speechwriting, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leadership.
  • Support Military Engines executive LinkedIn strategy, identifying opportunities to amplify messaging and engage key audiences across platforms.
  • Lead the planning and execution of special campaigns that promote Military Engines programs, milestones and achievements.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
  • Proven expertise in strategic communications: Skilled in narrative development, brand strategy (visual and narrative), executive communications, and crafting compelling messages for all audiences.
  • Operational and campaign leadership: Experienced in managing complex communications operations, including budget oversight, project management, high-profile campaigns, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Digital and interpersonal excellence: Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital strategies, and relationship-building with stakeholders at all levels.
