About the role

  • Sales Executive focusing on customer relationship management and B2B partnerships in New Zealand, overseeing quotations and driving profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver revenue and margin growth across your portfolio.
  • Manage key accounts, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Own the full quotation process with timely turnaround and strong conversion rates.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies to drive product and category growth.
  • Build strong stakeholder networks within customer organizations to influence buying behavior and secure RS as a preferred supplier.
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Promote and train customers on RS e-commerce tools, driving compliance and adoption.
  • Gather and share competitor and market insights to inform strategy.
  • Travel periodically for customer engagement and training initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and key account management, ideally in B2B environments.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, identify gaps, and execute growth plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies and pipeline management.
  • Desirable: Driven, ambitious, and pragmatic with high energy.
  • Commercial acumen and technical/financial aptitude.
