About the role

Responsibilities
- Primary contact for our internationally focused, mid-market clients
- Close collaboration with German clients operating in the United States
- Participation in audits or review engagements of annual financial statements under US GAAP, HGB and IFRS in accordance with international accounting standards
- Independent and accountable leadership of audit teams
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with tax advisors
- Opportunities to independently advise our clients on the structuring and execution of international transactions
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field
- German Wirtschaftsprüfer qualification (auditor exam) is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in assurance/audit services
- Strong knowledge of German HGB as well as international accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP)
- Fluent German and very good written and spoken English
- Team player with the ability to structure, organize and lead a team of professionals
- Confident presence, analytical thinking and pronounced teamwork skills
- Strong client orientation and excellent communication skills
