About the role

  • Literature Specialist creating catalogs and print media at Liebherr's marketing department in Ochsenhausen. Collaborating on editorial content and managing global print production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptual and editorial creation of our catalogs and print media using automated print output.
  • Continuous development of the catalog software (Priint:Suite) and all publications.
  • Advising and supporting regional marketing managers in the production of publications and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Developing editorial content pages for magazines and catalogs in close cooperation with Communication Management, Product Management and external agencies, taking corporate design (CD) and corporate identity (CI) into account.
  • Planning, implementation and management of global print production processes in terms of time, quality and budget.
  • Further developing cooperation with adjacent departments such as global procurement and service providers.
  • Promoting unified and scalable processes in print and publication management.
  • Optimizing print-publishing processes within the catalog and content software.
  • Participating in the development of upstream systems such as PIM, MAM and middleware with regard to required data and templates for print media.

Requirements

  • University degree, e.g., in business, marketing, media, IT or a comparable field (or equivalent professional qualification).
  • Professional experience in database-driven publication production, specifically automated print output using catalog software, is desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the conceptual and editorial production of print media, ideally in an international environment.
  • Strong experience with Adobe InDesign required.
  • Knowledge in marketing (digital and database-driven) and PIM & MAM is an advantage.
  • Meticulous and independent working style, reliability and sense of responsibility.
  • Solution-oriented, independent and entrepreneurial mindset with commitment, initiative, goal orientation and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
