Responsibilities
Develop and implement global Sourcing strategies for assigned commodities within Indirect Sourcing.
Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal value and performance.
Collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders such as Engineering, Legal, and Finance to align Sourcing strategies with Rockwell's Strategic Framework.
Monitor and analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
Lead should-cost modeling, pricing analysis, and benchmarking to support strategic decision-making and cost optimization.
Drive supplier negotiations to achieve best-in-class commercial terms, service levels, and long-term value creation.
Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards, and regular business reviews.
Drive risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Support make vs. buy decisions, outsourcing strategies, and supplier consolidation initiatives.
Lead continuous improvement efforts with commodity team, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Achieve year-over-year improvement in total cost, quality, service, and working capital.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
The ability to travel 20% of the time.
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or global commodity management
Experience working in a matrixed, global organization with cross-functional collaboration
Familiarity with contract law, IP considerations, and service-level agreements
Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba)
Experience with Engineering Services, Contingent Labor, HR Services, or other Professional Services
