Responsibilities
Deliver on-site and remote technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and networks.
Assist in the installation and configuration of computer systems, applications, and peripherals as well as Point of Sales systems.
Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware and software systems.
Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
Educate staff on best practices for using technology and software applications.
Collaborate closely with the IT team to support the rollout of new technologies and ensure smooth execution of system upgrades.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Additional coursework in Computer Science or IT is strongly preferred.
IT support experience preferred; hospitality industry background a plus.
Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
Toast POS experience is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language for non-technical users.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are advantageous.
